WHO WE ARE

Our main objective is creating spaces where companies, artists and organizations can create, collaborate, exchange, teach, learn, produce and co-produce. We intend to expand networks between Canada and Latin America, and provide the basic infrastructure and budget to make it happen.

Tridha Arts Association is a non for profit organization dedicated to manage performing arts companies and artists; create, design and produce performing arts events and develop educational programs focusing on the national and international exchange among artists.

Tridha Bogota was founded in Bogota, Colombia in the year 2000 and Tridha Arts Association in Toronto in the year 2006.  Over the course of its history Tridha has advised and supported private and governmental institutions in the formulation, implementation and execution of projects, plans, programs and activities in the arts field.  Tridha has presented theatre plays, dance, music and has produced conferences, expositions, festivals and events of diverse formats and budgets.
In 2006 Tridha Arts Association expanded opening an office in Toronto, under the direction of its founder and Executive Director Adriana Sabogal. It is dedicated to administer and manage dance, theatre and music artists and aims to facilitate international exchanges through governmental agreements and producers/presenters in Latin America and Canada.

     THE NAME

Tridha is a Sanscrit word that has different meanings in diverse cultures and usually refers to harmonizing of the physical, the emotional and the mental aspects of a being. It is a universal form represented by three: the body and the mind and the senses and is the dynamic force for all movements of life energy. We believe the arts are the human expression of these 3 aspects of humanity, and as universal language they transcend cultures, religions, languages and borders.
