Canadianworldmusic.com invites Canadian-based world music artists to apply for inclusion in a free, online, catalogue which will be promoted to festival and series presenters in Canada and internationally.
This Project is going National in 2013 after being an Ontario-based initiative pilot project.
The genres represented within Canadianworldmusic.com may include: South Asian, Latin, Indian, African, Brazilian, Fado, World Electronica, Flamenco, Afrobeat and much more. Our goal is to showcase high calibre Canadian talent that falls outside North American mainstream genres and to thereby help artists working within these areas find local, national and international performance opportunities.
